Maintenance after playing 18keys clarinet:
1. Remove the moisture in the 18keys clarinet: use a cleaning strip through the tube to completely remove the moisture inside. Moisture is likely to remain in the joints. Please use clean gauze to carefully remove the moisture to avoid cracks.

2. Cleaning the mouthpiece: After playing, be sure to remove the reed and wipe off the moisture for safekeeping. After the mouthpiece is used up, clean it, and then insert a cleaning cloth through the joint to remove water.
3. Remove the moisture from the leather pad: sandwich the absorbent paper between the leather pad and the sound hole to absorb the moisture, taking care not to damage the leather pad.
4. Remove surface dirt: Use a cleaning cloth to wipe gently along the 18keys clarinet tube, do not use force on the keys to avoid damage to the leather pad.
Note: After cleaning, the cleaning cloth should be placed separately from the instrument to prevent the 18keys clarinet from getting wet.
Weekly maintenance
Detailed cleaning: In conjunction with the cleaning of the pipe body, use the sound hole cleaning rod to clean the underside of the button, the gap and other parts.
18keys clarinet maintenance once a month:
Button check: Check whether the 18keys clarinet buttons are flexible. You can use a small brush or a waste brush to clear the dirt in the gap, check whether the buttons are flexible and whether the screws are loose. Use of key lubricating oil Put a small amount of key lubricating oil on the key screw part without loosening the screw. Do not drip too much, just one or two drops, and then wipe clean if the movable button is on the tube body. Sound hole cleaning: Please use the sound hole cleaning to remove the dirt on the button sound hole.
Maintenance of 18keys clarinet once a year:
Send it to a professional musical instrument store for maintenance (comprehensive maintenance). Professionals will help you test the leather pad for air leakage and replace the leather pad. At the same time, conduct a comprehensive cleanup. (Including screws, cork, buttons, etc.)
