Instrument installation: ABS piccolo is not coated with cork cream (CORKGREASE) in order to keep the joints clean when shipped, so a small amount of cork cream is convenient for disassembly and assembly.
Maintenance after playing: The ABS piccolo manufacturer tells you to pass one end of the cleaning gauze through the hole at the front end of the cleaning rod. Wrap the gauze around the cleaning rod, then insert it into the tube and rotate it slowly to remove water.
Remove the water from the leather pad: ABS piccolo manufacturer tells you that if the leather pad is wet after playing, please sandwich absorbent paper between the pad and the sound hole to completely absorb the water. After the water is removed, it is best to use textured paper to keep it. The leather pad is dry.
Clean the dirt on the surface: Do not use too much force when wiping the keys, so as not to affect the tightness of the keys. Maintenance once a month.
Button check: Because the screw will loosen naturally, check the pressing condition and tighten the screw.
When to use the button oil: ABS piccolo manufacturer tells you to drip a small amount of button oil on the movable part of the button. Be careful not to drip too much. After dripping, press up and down several times so that the oil can fully penetrate. If the surface of the keys gets oily, wipe them clean.
Adjustment of reflector: ABS piccolo manufacturer tells you that if the position of the reflector of the mouthpiece is deviated, the pitch will be affected. Please use the cleaning stick to determine the position. The method is to insert the cleaning rod into the head tube and check whether the scale above the cleaning rod is aligned with the center of the mouthpiece.
When the reflector deviates: when the ABS piccolo manufacturer tells you to deviate to the right, loosen the top cap, press the reflector to the left, and then lock the top cap (note that the front end of the cleaning rod should be wrapped with gauze to prevent damage to the reflector) and deviate to the left When it is sideways, loosen the top cap, press the reflector to the right, and then lock the top cap.
